Plastic Canvas
Several graphics on the web are perfect for door hangers, wall hangings and package tags.  Print the selected graphic and trace it to the canvas, choose the colors of yarn and start the needle point (I use tent stitch the most) to create the decoration.

I used some graphics to make-up some easter egg plant sticks. Just hot glue dowels to the stiched eggs, stick them in potted plants around the house and they look very festive. These go very quick and offer instant gratification.
